As a landscape and nature photographer, Fiona focuses on the shapes, colours, and textures that provide identity to a place. Her work also acts as a reminder of our physical vulnerability in scale as humans with the environment.
Much influence comes from early days in her childhood on multiple family road trips, where summers were spent on various trails in forests or canyons. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, there is a sense of comfort each time she is on a mountain, on the water, or simply between a bunch of trees. Fiona hopes to showcase the beauty of different natural environments and inspire others to appreciate and create their personal interactions with nature.
Also a Registered Dietitian, she advocates for food literacy and healthcare for marginalized populations. One of her hopes is to one day combine her expertise in food and nutrition with outdoor adventure.
